There will be a mandatory parent meeting for all High School parents at 7:00pm on Monday 11/28. Meeting will be held in Heath Room 1.

Hillsboro Basketball is excited to announce its first annual Free Throw-A-Thon Fundraiser!

On Saturday December 10, every Hillsboro youth and high school basketball player will shoot 100 free throws. Players will compete to raise the most funds by making their free throws and through collecting donation pledges for each free throw he makes.

Sponsor a player by pledging a donation amount for every free throw he makes on December 10. You can email Coach Svenson to have a player contact you about sponsorship.

After the Free Throw-A-Thon, the player will return to tell you how many free throws he made and collect your contribution.

Coaching staff will monitor and record the number of free throws made. All proceeds will go directly to the Hillsboro Basketball program to help fund player participation and offset team costs.

There will be a player meeting at 5:45pm in Health Room 1 before we take to the court at 6:30pm.

All participation forms must be completed and turned in tomorrow.

Thanks to all who participated in our competitive team tryouts!

All 5th, 6th, and 7th graders will be contacted by Sunday evening. The phone number provided on the information sheet completed at tryouts will be used for contact.

If you do not receive a call by Monday, please email Coach Svenson.

The last day of 8th grade tryouts will be held Sunday 11/13 at 4pm.

For those that do not make a team, we encourage you to play with Fundamentally Sound Basketball or Hillsboro Park and Rec.
